12/31/2022 Hello, I have a bulb given by the manufacturer of a floor reading lamp I recently purchased. You can adjust the head of the lamp. This bulb has the following information: 120V 9W 3000K 4000K 5000K.

Is this bulb good for growing lettuce, cherry tomatoes, herbs and similar vegetables. Please be advise that I have no experience gardening. This will be an indoor project. Thank you.

IMO LED lights have outgrown its competitors and with a big margin. I currently run tent with over 10 plants, 4 lights and im receiving the best yields Ive ever had, even eith HPS and CMH lights. The iL8x is one of its kind really. Full spectrum, for every cycle and dimmable for my adjustments. Reaaly love this piece of tech!

As a photographer the description of light here is appalling. 6500K light is not cooler than 3400, it’s hotter. What they mean to say is it’s bluer

I just started this process myself. Mine are, now, about 2″-3″ tall & I have 4 of them, in 3 small cups. I put mine:
*on top of the BIG Maxwell House Coffee container,
*Then I put a small Maxwell House Coffee can on top of the big one,
*I set them on my kitchen counter, (which has lighting under the upper cabinets) directly under the light fixture &
*Finally I put my 3 styrofoam cups (of 5 seeds total) right on top of the coffee containers & within 3 days I had my first sprout! Now I have 4 total! Yay! And it’s only been about 2 weeks!
*Now I am going to attempt to make a greenhouse, of sorts, bc they’re getting too big already. It’s hard to find the correct lighting & stuff (you want blue, but you don’t want too much green, ect.) It’s very confusing. I just got lucky so far I think bc I’ve never (even tried) grown anything before these lil guys….lol….I hope my info helps you some.
